The Mets are back home following a disappointing road trip to Milwaukee and San Diego. The Home Stand starts with a weekend series vs. the Florida Marlins on Friday night. Here is a look at the pitching match-ups for the weekend:
Friday: RHP R.A. Dickey (2-0, 2.84 era) vs. RHP Anibal Sanchez (5-2, 2.89 era), 7:10 p.m. ET
Saturday: LHP Jon Niese (1-2, 4.79 era) vs. LHP Nate Robertson (4-4, 4.30 era), 4:10 p.m. ET
Sunday: LHP Hisanori Takahashi (4-2, 3.21 era) vs. RHP Ricky Nolasco (5-4, 4.57 era), 1:10 p.m. ET

Prediction - Although they are at home, I think this will be a tough series for the Mets considering the pitching match-ups. Even though they miss Josh Johnson, the Mets are throwing the back end of their rotation this weekend. Having said that, Dickey should get the young Marlins to 'fish' for his knuckleball and the offense should score enough against Robertson to overcome Niese's first start back from the DL. Mets win the series 2-1.
