The Mets look to win the rubber game of their 3 game series with the Padres. If the first 2 games are any indication, we have no idea what's going to happen in this one. The Padres took the first game of the series 18-6, with the Mets taking the 2nd game 4-2. The Mets pitching dictated each games result. On Monday, the Mets pitching was terrible. Last night, Pelfrey delivered what you would expect from a 'Stopper'.
Tonight the Mets send their Ace to the hill, Johan Santana, looking to wrap up the road trip with a victory. The Mets have not won back to back road games since July, 2009. You read that right, almost a year ago.
