I'll be leaving shortly to sit in traffic on my way to Citi Field for game 2 of the series vs. the Tigers. Thus, the early Pre Game.
After last night's offensive explosion, the Mets look to win another interleague series with R.A. Dickey RHP (5-0 2.82 era) on the mound tonight. Dickey went 6.0 innings, allowing 2 earned runs and picking up the win last week, in Cleveland. Opposing Dickey will be Jeremy Bonderman RHP (3-4, 4.06 era). Against the Nationals last week, Bonderman allowed 2 earned runs over 7.0 innings to get the win.
With their win last night, the Mets again moved to 10 games over .500. The look to move to 11 games over and continue to creep closer to the Atlanta Braves for 1st place in the NL East.
Here's tonight's lineup:
Reyes SS
Pagan CF
Wright 3B
Davis 1B
Bay LF
Francoeur RF
Blanco C
Tejada 2B
Dickey P
